Are all projector collectors in Texas millionaires?

I've just seen a dual gauge sound Eumig, model Mark S 709 being advertised for $1399.

Admitedly it has been refurbished with new rubber drive plates, but wow, what a price for a projector that hails from around 1968.

Is the dollar weak within the US?

I know here in the UK we get a super exchange rate at the moment, almost $2 to the £1, but I thought that only really applied to exchange rates between countries and not within the United States itself.
