Today I bought a projector from a flea market for $3. It's a Bell & Howell Model 266a Autoloading projector. The problem is this: the projector runs too slowly while going forward (it runs in normal speed while in reverse). When I use "slow motion" the projector actually runs faster than if it was on the normal setting. There is a speed control, but it only makes the projector slower. I think it might need to be oiled but i have no idea how to do that (there's no instructions or visible oil holes) Any help would be appreciated. BTW I'm afraid to take it apart because the last thing i took apart hasn't worked since...

I have had one for around 30 years and it has never skipped a beat. I would check the belts first Joshua.
