I have recently bought Derann's 400' (in clamshell box) of "New York, New York". Although it is not mentioned on the box the film has stereo sound.

Does this occur on other members' copies, or has it been added?

I ask this because some time ago I purchased the MGM 2 x 400' "High Society". This has a stereo track which the seller said had been added by Keith Wilton. I spoke with Keith and he confirmed it.

Hi Maurice,
I was hoping to say "Wow, it does have stereo sound!"
But alas, it has not. So yours must have been added.
How's the colour on yours? Mine is faded, but what a sharp print.

It's on 1979 SP stock and the colour is holding up well, although it looks like SP. If you see what I mean.
