I have come across this cartoon short on ebay, asked the question about length and sound or not, but got no answer back.
Can anyone help.
Cheers
Chris.

IMDB says it's an 8 minute film so it's certainly no longer than 200 Feet.
Sound is anybody's guess, I couldn't see the box cover well enough to figure that out.

A little extra info.
It is indeed MGM, directed by Rudolph Ising, from 1938.

Well Michael, I'm tempted because it is a Harman & Ising Cartoon. Check out youtube if not done already... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t_2T1oFi83E
Thanks Osi, I was only interested because of it coming from the Harman & Ising studio. I now own 42 Harman & Ising's on laserdisc and want to track down the ones i don't have on Super 8. But is it sound? Going by the price tag of £5 i would say no. But is it worth a fiver or so to find out. Plus this fellows silence has me worried.

I would suggest that it is almost certainly a silent 200ft reel as the green price sticker is a standard one used by Mountain Films in the UK for the films they sold in their London shops under licence from Ken films etc. The sticker would have stated sound if it was a sound print. The stickers were difficult to remove from the rather flimsy packaging and it looks like someone has cut out the cover of the original box and placed it in one of those clear plastic cases. It's probably a black and white print too looking at the original retail price.

Thanks Paul, I think your right.
I will leave this one and keep an eye out for others. I paticularly would love Good Little Monkey's (See No Evil, Hear No Evil, Speak No Evil) I have two on laserdisc, but not this one. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e81g4hBl19g
Thanks again Guy's always appreciate your help.
