Something has occured to me and I'm sure that the moderators would word it far better than I.

The point is this. If we would wish to "out" (so to speak) a bad seller, whether ebay or private seller, I think some things should be taken into account. The reason for this is while I am all for the proper reporting of what I personally call "louses", I also feel that those who may be labeled as "louses" who truly aren't, should be protected.

Therefore ...

1. Does the person has a HISTORY of bad deals, whether ebay or private selling?

2. Make sure, before posting a person as a bad seller on this forum, that ...

A. All options for a good completion of the transaction have
been exhausted.

B. That all facts are true an undeniable.

This is because I have noticed that, as a number of recent posts have shown, as the post continues on, more facts come out about the transaction, and in almost every case, it turns out that there ended up being blame on both sides. Not always, but most of the times.

I, as well as anybody who may be improperly labeled, certianly do not want to see someone be labeled wrongly. The person who feels wronged should use the same level of justice for the other person as they no doubt would desire for themselves.

I'm not trying to be a conscience for the whole world, mind you, I just don't want to see a potentially good lad or lassie be incorrectly labeled. We have had a good, fairly claose knit bunch of members here and I would hate to see this forum erode into one big squabble.
