Now I'm a little confused. This seller is the same seller that sold the last one! And I emailed him after the fact and asked him if he had anymore and he said, sadly, no.
So...???? any ideas? How can this seller have 80% of the stock of New in the Box GS1200 Xenons in the continental USA? maybe even in the free world? How? Why? Where?

I agree Alan. This ad seems to ring a bell from the past.

He just replied when I asked him if this was the last one he sold that was returned. He said that no, this is the second Xenon GS1200 that he had in the estate sale.

I've purchased three items from this seller (Henry Deans) over the past several years and haven't been disappointed, although his shipping tends to be quite slow (as he indicates in most of his listings). As Alan says, he does seem to have access to an amazing inventory of mint or near mint motion picture equipment ranging from Arriflex cameras to Nagra tape recorders.

Ah! Henry Deans. I know this man now. His old Ebay handle was different. Miami...GS1200..I should have known. He told me that he had an Elmo GS1200 in the box with both lenses and that it was his personal machine. This was many moons ago and he said it was most likely worth around $3500. He was right. I purchased a Bauer T610 from him years ago. If this is him he is legit and he does have great gear.

Henry Deans, a great guy. Very friendly to talk to and very knowledgeable. I bought a standard GS-1200 1983 model with 1.0 lens from him 7 years ago. It was in practically unused condition when I received it. And he guaranteed it.

Maybe one day I can acquire one of these machines. Gotta save up.
