looks like I bought a lemon [Confused] Finaly had a go at using the projector but the first stumbling block ive come to is simply trying to feed the film into the thing, It goes as far as the gate but wont take up the film at all. Iv'e read the instruction book and trimend the film but still no joy.......ah well, looks like im on the lookout for another.

Hi John!
Not so long ago I got a 926 for free (and sold it on). When I first tried it I stumbled over the same problem that you experienced: the film just wouldn't get pulled in. I cut it a few times with the included device and after some tries I was lucky; it seems that them machines are extremely particular when it comes to the edge of the film that is supposed to be pulled in.

Hi guys, not sure why its blocked. will try to sort it later.
I did manage to get the film to feed after cutting the end sevral times, but then it decided to not feed through the gate itself............very strange [Confused]

Another thing that I experienced once was film jamming up the part where the sound head is so that nothing could pass anymore. The thing is that you wouldn't see it with just a glimpse, you really have to look out for it as it is a well covered up area.
