Just wondering which way round the majority of the members likes to use their projector stands.
ie. with the second lower table out towards the front, or out towards the rear.
I guess it could well end up 50/50, depending which way feels most comfortable and convenient.
Personally, I keep chopping and changing, according as to whether I want to accommodate the slide projector on the stand at the same time......

Front
I don't use the table much, though. Sometimes for outdoor or living room screenings (ie - when I'm not projecting something at our basement cinema).

I use this Ikea table on top of my Dining table. The GS fits
on top nicely and the foot stool part holds reels and a splicer.

I have one of the 'classic' 70es folding stands. I always leave the lower table in the back; just a habit of having that lower tray available for little odds and ends. Plus, if for no other reason, it looks a bit better.
Claus.
