I've just repaired the rear take-up belt by "bending and hooking." (Better way to fix?)
Most of the new belts I have seen have been the neoprene drive belts. Is there a source of wire belts, preferably in the U.S.?
Thanks.
Frank

Every company which manufactures wires springs offers "wires belts", too
Diameter 2mm, 3mm, 4mm, some supply 2.5mm and 3.5mm, too.
Length is 1 meter, has to be sized to your needs.
I would like to point out, that "wire belts" normally canīnt be replaced by rubber belts. Wire belts have a "built in" friction due to slipage. Therefore they donīt require e.g. a friction on take up arm. Rubber belts show much less slipage and increase tier on filmstrip causing damage to film and projector.

the solution is easy. Buy this one and keep the wire belts. This one has both of them!
