Hello,

I am looking for Super 8MM and/or 16MM Cameras with:
single frame shooting, reflex viewing and focusing.

I hope this is the right place to ask such a question.
Any model suggestions?

Thanks.

There are many, many cameras that fit this specification. Some popular Super 8 cameras....Canon 814, Canon 1014, Nikon R8 , Nikon R10 plus countless others, such as the series from Chinon, Bauer, Nizo. As for as 16mm, I think the Bolex Rex series would be the way to go.

Any B&H that fits well?
Also, any advice on whether i should go with Super 8 or 16 for shooting animation at home?

Amit, the choose between super 8 vs 16mm will also depend on what type of budget you have.

My understanding, because super 8mm reversal stock is available, you can get your result easily to be projected rather than with 16mm negative.

But again it depend on your budget and where are you going to show the result.

These are good for 16mm video cameras?
