Hi,

I have always been a big film fan and I am about to start collecting 8mm film, but have a quick question.

I understand the fps rate for silent and sound film in the UK is 18 & 24 (I think). Is the frame rate for US published film different?

If it is, do they play on a UK projector with little noticeable difference?

Sorry if this is a bit of a daft question, but you dont learn if you dont ask.

Film speeds are universal.
