Hello,
1. Can super 8mm projectors project regular 8mm films? Can regular 8mm projectors project super 8mm films?
2. Is it possible to find ones who develop regular 8mm films? Is it as expensive as developing 16mm films?
Thanks.

Dual-8 projectors can project both Regular and Super-8.
Regular-8 projectors can only project Regular-8
Super-8 projectors can only project Super-8
There are a lot of places that develop R8:

...and many others.
It should be a lot cheaper than 16mm, especially on an equal screen time basis.

I need it to have single frame shooting, reflex viewing and focusing. Do reg 8mms have these qualifications?
Thanks.

I would recommend a Bolex camera. They are very well built and I have had a lot of success with them. For what you are looking for you may want a P1, P2, P3, P4, K1, K2, or an S1. I have a P1, it's a great camera and there are replacement batteries for the exposure meter since the original battery is no longer made. Go to the following website to research the different cameras, they are almost always available on ebay:

Here is a great article on the Bolex P1.

Can earlier models be as useful for film shooting?

The earlier models don't have the reflex view but I have used a Bolex D8L with great success.

Thank you very much.
The H16 is also good as a 16mm right? They are usually older.

I don't know much about the 16mm cameras but the H8 is an 8mm version of the H16 and is considered one of the best you can get. There is a reflex version of the H8. They use 25', 50' and 100' reels. I would love to have that camera but they cost a lot more than the smaller ones. Here is a link to the reflex H8:

Thanks alot. One last question:
Which are the oldest colour film cameras that i can get for shooting films, and for a reasonable price? They do not need to have the qualities that i have mentioned before.
Thanks again.
