Now, it is not about the print, but the Marketing box:

 -

Picture is taken from the below listing:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=220672998596&ssPageName=ADME:B:SS:US:1123

Look at the one on the right, it is almost no color left.

I believe this is not photocopied box (mono color) but the OB has really gone the original color. It can be seen from the actors name does still have a bit yellow color.

regards

winbert

It must have been sitting in a store window somewhere! That's what happened to VHS boxes when they sat on shelves near the window.

Yep. Sunlight. No mystery.

Well, I've heard of boxes with VS, so it was inevitable that box fade would become a problem sooner or later!

Not only do we put up with color fade of our prints but also box fade too. [Eek!] [Big Grin]

Mike, I know this is not a mystery at all, many posters placed facing direct sunlight will fade like this. But like Osi said on the other of the pound, if the box has faded badly like this, we can't imagine how bad is the print..... [Wink]

And...it is EUR 35....any taker?

Yes, think about the print sitting in the box in the hot sun for all that time!
