There is a movie on Ebay that says it is for 8mm or 16mm. How can that be?

I asked seller how that could be and he responded that he recalls his Family playing it on a 8mm projector. He said it says 8mm or 16mm on the box. I can't see that in the pic.
Here is his reply:
"This was played on our 8mm home projector in the late 50's maybe half a dozen times. But is states right on the box "8mm OR 16mm". I am not a projectionist but that's what is says. I hope it works for you. It is very funny. I remember Woody using a lawnmower to cut a view through a fellow's hair at the baseball game. Then he gets into the game."

Barry, it's a Castle film, they all had written on the front cover "8mm 16mm" or "For All 8mm & 16mm Projectors" etc.

It meant they made films in both formats. Non-film people are always getting this mixed up thinking the film in the box can actually run in both projectors!

Thanks David. As is obvious, I'm pretty new to this hobby also. It can be confusing. Here is a quote from a Worthpoint site talking about the Woody films.
"Woody was originally voiced by Mel Blanc, the voice actor who voiced Bugs Bunny and most of the other Looney Tunes/Merrie Melodies characters. Blanc was succeeded as Woody's voice by Ben Hardaway and later by Grace Stafford, wife of Walter Lantz. Advertised by Castle Films - FOR ALL HOME MOVIE PROJECTORS - 8MM OR 16MM.
