Would anybody happen to have a 3000GL that could list the lens specs? In particular the barrel size and length? or perhaps some one would know if I could use the lens from a B&H 466,,,Sankyo 782,,,B&H 1788,,,etc on the Chinon 3000GL. Thank You.

Hello Dave,

The barrel circumference is 3-3/8” and the length is 3-1/16” (extended).

I hope this helps.

Thank You very much!! One other question,,do you happen to know if there is any special grooves or anything that would prevent one from using a lens from a different machine (provided the circumference is the same)? again,,thank you!! Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas to you too.

The lens has one groove 1/16 of inch wide located 3/4 of an inch from the back lens.

Thank's Jon. My search continues. All my lenses are 3 1/8 except for the Sankyo which is 3 7/8. Appreciate the help!!!
