I recently joined the forum in order to fix my Noris 342 sound system which has been out of action for some years. I followed the advice given and contacted John White(telphone number provided by Peter Booth), he was unable to help but made some suggestions. I changed the two capacitors and hey presto! I have sound. Many thanks to you guys for your help.
