Hello,
I am new to super8 filming and wondering if anyone could help me out? I would like to project my super 8 footage looped on a projector that could spin round so that the image circles a circular backdrop screen. Are there any projectors that can spin round or would the wiring get tangled up? does anyone have any suggestions on how i might be able to do this? I would greatly appreciate the help...

Have a look for a 'rotating Christmas tree stand' - these exist and would serve your needs as the requirements are similar for both applications. Some modification would be needed to accommodate the projector but it should not be very difficult.

That might just work Roy. I was going to suggest projecting at a Disco Ball

I've been researching this myself. My wife wants to have a rotating Christmas tree with lights next year. Not a fake tree but a real flocked tree. Here are some solutions that I found:

Motor box with outlet

web page

These are expensive though but they can hold some weight.
