Hi everyone, I need to know what the glass is that a projector shines the image onto before the image is reflected from a mirror through a magnifier lens for the digital camcorder to record.

I don't think that is necessarily a requirement, the main thing you want to look out for is going to be the proper lamp diffusion, because the usual powered lamp is going to cause it to be much to bright/blown out for the camcorder to handle it,

Thanks guys. I have one of those Telecine machines. A DMC GT-201A, and when I cleaned the inside of the screen with some alcohol cleanser it removed the wax layer!!! Big learning curve for me is this film to DVD "stuff" (technical word).
Having spent $200 I was hoping to fix my "dumb" (another technical word) mistake. [Smile]

This afternoon I tried some frosted glass BUT too grainy. I seem to have most success with setting the projector and camcorder facing 450mm to a super white screen. The main disadvantage of this is having to be in the dark!!!!

Regards, Aussie Paul. [Smile]

ps. Frank, could you email me your phone number please to paulbruty@gmail.com
