Hi, so my uncle gave my mom a projector to hand off to me this Friday, and I'm trying to find out more about it. He didn't seem to know anything about it and either did my mom. My curiosity is killing me. I'll I can gather is that it's a Technical Service Inc. (TSI) Movie Matic projector with a monitor on the side. The company's based out of Michigan, and my mom says it's the size of a sewing machine, which makes me think it's a Super 8. But the only things I can find on the web are 16mm. She also said the outside of the unit said 400watt and 150volts. Anybody have a clue what this beast might be? Thanks!

Scott

Are you able to post some pics of it? It sounds like it might be an old 16mm movie player that uses film cartridges. [Confused]

The 400wt 150 volts is probably the bulb. [Eek!]

Hi,

there was one for sale on ebay's "quoka" (without pics). The seller claims that it's a 16mm-film-projector that can project in "endless loops" and that also has got an integrated screen for rear-projection.
There's an old add for this projector on page 4:

Hey Gang,

I'm pretty sure I have one of these lying about as well, and have been trying to decide wether to sell it or keep it. I haven't looked at it in a looong time. But I do remember that it has a nifty removeable cartridge that holds the loop of film. I'm sure it was designed for sales applications and presentations in the field....

Hey Joseph, yeah the ad said it was used for sales presentations. Have you ever used it. Can you load regular film into the cartridges? If so, how much? Thanks
