Hello everyone
I just wanted to see if could get some help with newly purchased Elmo st-1200, seller stated "just needs new belts" which wasn't a problem the installation looked to be straight forward. I was excited to purchase a projector with larger reel capacity so the first thing i did was open the back just to be equally disappointed by a twisty tie hanging from a spring. It looks like a spring to help engage the fast forward and reverse but I can’t seem to find how it attaches.
I’m hoping one of forum members can take a picture of how it needs to be attached or point me in the right direction.

Hi Christopher,

That “twisty tie” is not part of the Elmo 1200 [Wink]

– the spring is but IT IS not installed properly, please look at the picture for the proper placement.
