Ok I took the back cover off and found no pieces of paper inside the unit but what I did find is that two of the cooler fan blades when I turn the drive wheel slowly by hand it turns the pulley thats attached to the fan blade and you can see that the two blades are rubbing against the metal housing. Now my question is if I take a flat screw driver because I can't get the outer cover off because it's too tight of a fit and try to bend out the metal housing just enough for the blades to clear the housing so they won't rub against it would that do any damage because I don't want to make it any worse? Has anyone experienced this kind of problem before? Do you think maybe the heat generated from the lamp warped a couple of the fan blades? Also one last thing is the top long horizontal belt supposed to be a rubber belt because whats on there now is a spring belt?
If anyone can shed any light on the subject it would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Roger
