We have a friend who has a Fumeo 9119, mag/opt.
The sound on the magnetic side is good but on optical is virtually inaudible, (low low vol),
I appreciate that there are many things this could be but do these machines suffer with any specific fault on optical sound,

Hello Tom,the problem could be the type of projector lamp,which
should be the 200w as opposed to 250w which still works but
does cause a drop in sound levels when using Opt. snd.Also check that the beam from the exciter lamp is hitting the track.There are
adjustable plates on the Fumeo to ensure that the light from
the exciter is exact,make sure that the tiny slit of light is
horizontal and the lenses are clean and free from dust etc.I hope
this helps.
