I need to upgrade my old screen with something new. I'd like besides a good screen for movies to be able shoot video off the screen and get decent resolution. Any suggestions? Thanks

Your best bet by far is a matt white screen. Avoid high gain white or silvered screens which are directional and will give you a hot spot in the center of your screen and on your video. Matt white will give you the highest definition picture with absolutely uniform illumination at any viewing angle.

Excellent advice.Thank you. I'll look into it. Any brand or type that the forum knows of before I do some investigating on my own appreciated.
Cheers,
Rico

Da-Lite makes quality screens....at least, that's my choice and what I use. I have both a 96" matte surface that I use most of the time, and a smaller 70" glass beaded that I use for out-of-house showings.

Hi
I've bought this cheap screen.
I have very little space at home, so everything must remain mobile.
The picture is beautiful but with a good viewing angle.
