Hello! I am new to this forum thing so please excuse me,
Now a few days ago y Grandparents gave me there projector a Bolex 18-5 circa 1968, and a few film reels i checked and it just about everything with it, manual, cord, etc. but i found the port above the power outlet on the projector itself and i wondered what it was for because the prong holes were round not rectangles. I then found out that it was for a 70w room lamp and the projector originally came with a adapter cable that the room lamp would plug into. Now i was wondering if anyone knows where i can get one, even if it is a broken one that i can rig up.
thanks for the help it is much appreciated!

Welcome to the forum Nolan. I just got back for visiting my cousin in Upland :-) I hope you can find what you are looking for...however having an attached lamp is not a crucial element to the projector. Have you tried running it yet?

Yes i did, the bulb worked for i would say maybe 5 hours between two days,... yea i really like it haha, i got to watch my grand parents wedding which was very neat if i do say so my self. I do realize that it is not crucial for a lamp but i thought it would be very cool to have at least representation of what the whole ordeal was like, and thanks for the welcome!

The ebay listing below still has one. It's the black remote cord if you click on the "type" drop down box above the quantity box on the listing. You better snatch it up quick, they can be hard to come by if you didn't get one with your projector.
PARTS ONLY: VINTAGE BOLEX PAILLARD 8mm PROJECTOR # 18-5. CORDS, LABLES, BULB
