I noticed a problem with my Chinon 6100 yesterday. Something seems to be pulling the film causing a flutter.

Here is a video of what it is doing.

Everything looks OK inside to me. Then again, it would. I'm not the most mechanically-minded individual.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Hi Chris

Looks like it's losing the loop on top. Check that out first. Another thing to look for is a piece of broken film in the film channel anywhere.

Thank you Pat!

I didn't see any broken film but maybe something was stuck in the gate or somewhere else. I sprayed compressed air all along the film path. Looks like that may have done the trick. I ran film and the flutter was gone. If it happens again and a cleaning won't help, I'll let you know.

Thanks again.
