I am currently in the process of making a deal directly with the Taylor Reel Corporation, for larger quantities of 1200' reels (actually they are 1600' capacity, but the same size as regular 1200' reels!).

Now I need loads of reels, the problem is: I dont need the minimum order of 23!

So now I am hoping that there are other collectors out there that need these reels. TRC only takes orders of full cartons, each carton containing 23 reels. I only need 10-12 or so, so there's many more up for grabs! Also, I can make an order of two cartons (46 reels) if there's enough interest.

My plan is this:
You tell me how many reels you want/need, all orders are final. No orders will be made until I have enough collectors here to get everything shipped asap.

I will then have the reels shipped to my place, where I will split the cartons up into individual orders and ship to the rest of you.

To cover packaging, shipping from the US etc. I am pricing the reels at 15$ a pop (which is considerably less than most 1200' on fleabay) + shipping from Norway. Discounts given at larger orders.

The only downside? I need the money up front. As you may know, I am a fairly poor student and just bought a new house, so I need the cash in advance to pay the supplier. Hopefully, we trust each other here, and I am sure there are members who can vouch for me. All I wanna do is help myself and the rest of you to some cheap and quality reels [Smile]

Anyone interested?

I can use a carton myself ... Always in need of reels it seems. Do they deliver 50', 200', 400', 600' and 800' too?

Yes, they can deliver most sizes but this also requires purchases of at least one full carton, and I know that for 50' reels that's 200 reels or something.

Quite a few ... 207 of the 200' ... I'd want 50 or so ... But might do a box depending on price

Michael, I would have to check shipping costs but my guess is around 10-20 euros to Germany for five reels.

Maurizio, I do not have pictures, I will ask them if they have any. The reels are "baby blue" or "light blue" with a small aluminium center and the rest of the reel in plastic.

They did not have any pictures I'm afraid, not of the 1600' reel because it's something they only make to orders.

Anyway, let me know asap if anyone else wants in, order will be made once I hit 23 or close to it.

I just mailed Tayloreel and will provide further payment info and such as soon as I et a confirmation from them [Smile]

** UPDATE **

I now recieved a confirmation from Tayloreel, but they also informed me that the prices I had been given were slightly wrong. Therefore, I will have to price the reels at 18$ instead of 15$ to cover the extra costs. I'm still doing this without profit due to the shipping costs. Please give me confirmation that this is OK with you, and I will place the order [Smile]

I will then send a Paypal invoice to you for the costs!

Like stated above, I need the money in advance as the Tayloreel Corporation requires advance payment. They have informed that theres a 3-4 day production time, and then 2-3 weeks shipping to Norway, so I reckon the reels will be sent from me to you during early April [Smile]
