I have problem with the gears Elmo projector FP-C. No reason seen as separate and will not turn the pinion which in turn makes the band spin the reels of film. Schedule an image that could be used to explain better.

The gears are similar to my Elmo FP, which is just a regular 8mm projector. From time to time I've had problems with that upper smaller white gear. I had to remove it while replacing the belt. You may want to try and loosen the screw in that gear and slightly adjust it, so it is sitting properly in the metal groove. This something that may have happened when someone was changing the belt before. After you try this make sure that screw is very tight, or it may move around and get out of the groove again.
