Hi Moshe. It is a little bit out of the subject but is there a shop in Israel (where I am going to spend my Summer holidays) where you can find film material or do you get everything from Internet ?

I saw an old advertisement and it was released by Movieland. There was the full feature, a 600ft and 200ft digest plus trailer advertised. However I have never come across a print of any for sale. I have an excellent print of it on 16mm, so have never really looked closely for it!
ps No, it's not for sale but here is a photo from my print!

Oh, I forgot to mention, I found it in the old Movieland catalogue on David Ollerearnshaw's site:

Astonishing - I had no idea - or forgot ages ago - that Movieland had 'Clockwise' lined up for release. I'm sure that all three of the Weintraub releases fell through for some reason, although Derann later released 'The Railway Children' full length. It was very ambitious of Movieland to be planning 600' and 200' versions, as I think even Derann had stoppeed releasing digests by 1989.

Anyone know what went wrong - as the catalogue clearly shows the films were close to release?

Thanks for all the educated answers.
DOM : As for Israel, If you mean S8 stores here in Israel so not even a single one.

from now and then you can find it SO cheap on the flea market in Jaffa city for 2-3 USD a roll of film.

As for Stills film photography there are plenty of even slides (As I do shot slides E-6)

I'll be happy to assist you with more Q's feel free to PM me.

Thanks, Moshe. The Jaffa flea market is a good idea. I love flea markets, so I will take a chance there.

Adrian,

I think it ended up as usual, as money problems at Movieland, I think they were too ambitious for the time.
