Just discovered this website of a shop in Paris. an Aladdins Cave of films and projectors in 8 & 16mm. There is also a short video.
http://www.bd-cine.com/nous.php An amazing projector shown in the video.

It's in the listing of "Dealers" Robert, and they are very decent people to deal with, although some of their prices verge on the
fanciful.

It's film heaven! [Eek!]

Plus they almost have as many films as Doug has!

I've ordered from La Bande des Cinés a number of times. It's an excellent company with wonderful service.

They have a stand every year at Argenteuil (close to Paris) for the September "Cinglés du Cinéma".

Thanks for all the feedback, where can I find the list of dealers Hugh?. I don't buy much due to my situation, but occasionally I like to treat myself. Can you imagine being given a blank cheque and allowed to roam here. Did anyone watch the video and see that marvellous projector? What make and model was that? Hugh; some of the prices being asked on Ebay for low fade stock films seem fanciful; for those prices I would want the original 35mm print.

Hi Robert, for the list of dealers,go to the "films for sale" and click on, it's at the top of the page. I was grateful for the Bd-cine
mention, as I'd not heard of them, but have bought quite a lot of film from them.I still think their prices are rather on the high side
especially as some of the colour titles are mentioned as faded.
That said, they are a good firm to deal with.I agree totally on some of
the stuff on ebay, with asking prices that make you question the
sanity not only of the seller but the buyer, usually for the most mundane titles.

What's your opinion on this Hugh, the seller has 2 copies, couldn't see any difference in the listing.
