I do audio/video/photo conversions for clients and just got into 8mm transfers and bought a nice dual format Bell & Howell projector. Now I'm wondering how beneficial it might be getting an 8mm projector with sound capability? Thoughts? Do they make dual format projectors with sound? Thanks!

There are many options that provide dual formats and support sound. Is it worth it though? I assume you are transferring peoples home movies? It depends on if you get a lot of clients with sound film.

right. i do this as a business. kind of wondered if i should have waited and bought an all-in-one unit with sound. oh well, i can always have both! thanks.
