Hi guys.

So I've just finished shooting a few reels and am considering my options with regards to who I should go for processing wise. One guy is offering a D-19 process at 11.99GBP while a shop in central London offers D94A process for 13.99GBP. Is there any marked difference in these two methods and if so which is the one more appropriate to go with? I am developing TRI-X Reversal.

Thanks again for any help!

AFAIK D19 is the most common practice for Tri-X. And in my experience it has produced fantastic results.

Before you commit to either of these services, check to see what Pac Lab's current prices are. They are a stellar lab. I've used them for at least 8 years.

Ernie,

Thanks for your reply. I have actually had a reel processed by the D19 guy before and it came out great, I suppose I'll stick with him after all! With regards to PacLab unfortunately I am based in the UK and it appears it's based in NY. Thanks all the same though!

Thanks for this question, Patrick. Ernie do you know the difference between the two methods ? If the most common one gives good results, why is the other one used ?

I'm not really sure. I just know that the former has been a trusted method and makes great prints.
