I have eight cartridges of R25N that needs processing, but Retro has not replied to my six mails! It was the same thing last time, and I quite frankly think it's quite the unserious business.

Does anyone know of alternatives?

Christian,

Try to cotnact ANDEC:

http://www.andecfilm.de/en/e_single_8_service.htm

It is in Europe rather than Retro which is in Japan.

Hi, Winbert, thanks for the tip. I contacted them, but sadly they don't process, they only forward to Retro Enterprises, which I cannot figure out if still processes or not.

I wish they could at least bother checking/replying to e-mails...

Retro Enterprises still processes R25N and will continue after Fuji will stop at the end of September.
I would just send it to them with a good letter and hope for the best. You will get your film back with the invoice.
If your film will be processed by Fuji it will take more than a month. Thats what me is told when I sended my new holiday films in for processing and sound striping by Fuji. Fujichrome R25N is NOT E6 but something that looks like EM-26, that is what I know.

Does retro enterprises still operate? The site hasn't really changed in a while. I'm a little nervous to send me film out but they don't really reply to emails.

Anyone do work with them in the last year?

Ernie, don't send anything without being sure. A call should let you know if they are still in business.
