I have that lens and serial :434609.

My question about its distance mark and final staying place at the infinity.

There are two lines at the end and distance mark marks the final line of two.

But infinity sign stays 3 mms right of the final line of two.

Is it normal ?

Sometimes the markings can get misaligned. If you turn it to the point where it stops that should be infinity. You may have to make adjustments for the rest of the distance markings.
