I bought a Cinemate Realtime Telecine projector off Ebay that cosmetically was in very bad shape. The seller was surprisingly honest in stating a hammer had dropped on it [Smile]

Here is what it looked liked when I got it. The case was severely cracked and the supply reel spindle was broken.

I had a few "parts-only" GAF projectors in my closet and was able to replace the case, re-mount the speed control switch, and install a new supply reel spindle.

This unit is the old model using the 20W incandescent bulb...but it runs fine. It didn't come with a mirror and condenser lens...but I'm working on setting up my camera to record directly off the film gate. For me this has become quite a trial and error process to be able to zoom in and focus on the gate and have it fill the frame on my camcorder. I'm using a Raynox DCR 250 Macro Lens on a 5.5 extension tube. I don't really have the extension tube yet...but I tried it out with a cardboard cylinder from a roll of toilet paper [Smile]

This seemed to work for proof of concept.

A previous owner has rewired the lamp and motor switch buttons. It works...but I would like to restore it to its original state. As you can see in the photo... the original motor button is missing. I have to turn the motor on with the speed control knob. I would like to install a new motor button, but not sure on how to wire it. Does anyone have this unit and can tell me how it's suppose to work? A picture of the wiring would be very helpful too [Smile]
