Again, I need the help from french speaking members (or other who may answer) for these 3 TJ titles:

1. Jerry petite Maman
2. Le Bouclier de Jerry
3. Un bienfait n'est jamais perdu

With all due respect, please do not give the literal translation of the above titles, but the exact title in English version.

For "Le Petit maman", seller description says:

quote:

Which is translated by google as:

Summary:
A knock at the door one evening Jerry who was about to fall asleep ... Outside person , but on the ground, a basket placed in a little mouse that sleeps . Once inside , Jerry finds a label . "Take care of him. Attention, it is always hungry . " Therefore, the concern of Jerry will find food for his new protege ... actually very voracious . The bowl of milk Tom will do that day . But Tom obviously does not let do ...

While for "Un bienfait n'est jamais perdu" there are some screen shots that may all members here can contribute:

"Le Petit maman" sounds like Little Orphan.

"Le petit maman" = "The Milky Waif" (I am sure about this one, because I sold it a few weeks ago!)
Sorry I don't know about the others...

Sorry, after searches in French on the web, it appears that there is no list with the French titles of Tom and Jerry. I found in a ad a title stated at the original one (Jerry Little Mom for Jerry petite maman) but this titles doesn't appear in the list of the Tom and Jerry cartoons in English (so it was a litteray translation, which doesn't help). There is a work to do for a Tom and Jerry fan ;-)

Thanks Michael, Yes "la petite maman" is Milky Waif as this youtube shows exactly the same story with the resume given above:

The title card copyright reads "1964".
It could be any of these

"Un Bienfait N'est Jamais Perdu" translates literally as "A Good Deed Is Never Lost".

This Chuck Jones' 1964 title is "Much Ado About Mousing". "When a bulldog tells Jerry to 'just whistle' any time he needs him, Tom is in for big trouble until he puts earmuffs on the dog".

Just for info, in the French titles, there is only a capital letter at the first word (and of course at the words, like the names, that always start with a capial letter). The Anglo-saxons often use the same rule as in English where (I don't know why) all the words in a title start with a capital letter, which is a mistake for french titles.

Too bad the auction has ended while this is one of few TJs that I have not had yet. Moreover it was sold only for EUR 6 for a color and sound film at Ebay.fr!.

Now left 1 title to answer "Le Bouclier de Jerry", any info?

cheers,
