Here is my latest mod to my ST-180.
Previously I had converted this to manual load. Now I have upgraded the tension roller to a new metal arm with nylon roller.
The arm came from a silent Bell and Howell autoload mechanism.
Turns out it is the perfect size to replace the plastic tensioner that comes stock. Of course it is not a direct replacement and requires a new hole in the chassis, but this works pretty darn good if I do say so myself.
