Hi all. I have a Yelco MT810 Drive belt that goes around the motor pulley and then the drive shaft (to the shutter etc etc) My problem is I cannot get the belt around the larger pulley as its slotted into the metal bodywork (hope that makes sense) Im not too happy to remove the motor etc as I don't want to misalign anything. I have replaced drive belts before on other machines but this one has me stumped. Your advice welcome. Thank you

Hi the drive belt will fit through the metal base gap by removing the motor via 2 screws and moving out of the way to gain access to back large pulley. Then feed the belt over the large pulley and push through gap at base on left with blunt medium flat screwdriver....carefully from rear to front into gap. Can be done with no damage as rubber is flexible and good quality.

Yelco must have had some sadist working in the "serviceability department"!
A few years ago I revived a Yelco P111B so my son could have his own projector and I had to pull out the motor to change the belts on that one too!
If I remember right I also had to partially remove a shaft and the transformer as well.
-not fun!
