I have a ELMO VP-A Dual Filmatic Projector. To which the belts had rotted away to nothing. I bout new belts. But I can not find a good diagram or picture showing how to route the Long or bigger belt.

I would hope that some one on this Forum could direct me to any source that might provide said diagram. Somebody please help. We have a lot of reg 8 and super 8 movies that my wife's father had taken.

Or if somebody can suggest a viewer that we might use, as all we really want to do, is pick the movies that we want transferred to disk. [Confused]

Hey Jon, thanks for the post. The problem is that is not the VP-A Dual Filmatic. It is the VP-C model. They are a little different for instance there is one pulley wheel that is turn to a 45 degree angle. The VP-A has a straight one. That is a great view, I think he posted a picture of them with the belts on the VP-C model that does show the threading, but at an angle in which you can't see that group of pulleys at the back of the projector.

Thanks again for whatever research you did, and for sending a reply. I really Need the diagram for that specific model.Or a straight on picture of both ends of the projector with the belt. Remember everybody ELMO VP-A only. Thanks

Hello Glenn,

Perhaps you missed the heading on Graham's post which read...

"Hope this helps its a VP-A though." According to your original post, you were looking for info on an Elmo VP-A, the same Graham posted.

Regards

Jon

Jon, I am sorry I was looking at another set of pictures. But what I need now is a face on picture of the rear gears with the belt on. I will check to see if Graham is still with us. And ask him if he can provide that info. Thanks again Jon
