"Munsters Go Home" I know that this feature was made available on super 8; does anyone know who put it out and what the quality is like? Was it put out on low fade color stock?

Gee, I would rather have it in black and white! It would fit in perfectly with the original series, as I believe that it was in black and white as well!

I have a copy of it in 16mm 2-1600 ft reels, and it's in color.

Just watched the unaired pilot which was in colour, I did feel colour spoiled it. Black & White did really suit them. The feature is one I would like too.

Its one feature that properly looks better in B/W.

I recall hiring the B/W feature from Powell Films many years ago. I now have the [dare I say it?] DVD in colour. I think the TV series being studio bound looked OK in black and white, but as the feature uses much more outdoor locations, shooting in colour made sense. Herman's face is a lovely shade of green by the way.

I once had a IB Tech 16mm print of "Munster Go Home" and wouldn't want a B&W version after seeing it! Beautiful Technicolor. No Pat Priest was a bummer though, as she would have had beautiful blue eyes in Tech. [Razz]

Unfortunately at the time the deal Powell Films did with Universal was for B/W prints only, even of colour titles. Ah those were the days!

I've seen a great colour trailer on Super 8 - I think it's on a rare Thunderbird reel.
