Hello,
I still have 8 carts of Fujichrome R25N which I want to use, but because Fuji in house processing has ended I can not let them processed with stereo sound-striping. Instead the best alternative for the sound-striping at the moment looks to be Andec from which I have read on the german 8mm forum that they can mono sound stripe polyester film. Because I also want to add some Fujichrome sound films ( I have a bunch of single-8 sound films ) and stereo sound-striped Ektachrome film, I come across the question (maybe a stupid one) if it is possible to splice stereo sound-striped film with mono sound-striped film.

Yes, no problem Sven. May have to re-focus and adjust your sound selecting buttons on your projector to maximize output when going from stereo to mono stock dependent on your projector.
Andec is indeed our only choice nowadays for striping Polyester and unfortunately, now only on main stripe, not balance
I have a Derann reel going out to them myself very soon.
BTW no question about our hobby is a stupid one Sven, there is always someone on here who can help!
