don't forget to modify your Beaulieu with the M2 nut
In a posting on the 9.5mm Forum about a 9.5 adapter Andrew Woodcock added for me the above message.
I may have missed out somewhere along previous Beaulieu postings but I do not understand this comment.
Perhaps Andrew could further explain his message.

Maurice see today's posting on the 8mm general section. It contains a post from me that will hopefully benefit yourself and others.

The post from today goes under the title
"While we are on the subject of Beaulieu".

It followed on from my other post to Rob Young regarding his machine.

Thank you, Andrew.
I have never had film being scratched with my 700EL, but your comments will be noted.
As it was under General Yak I might have missed the post, perhaps you might ask Doug to re-site to the 8mm Forum pages.

No you won't have Maurice (films being scratched that is) but one day, after several hundred more cleans of the guide, then you might.

That is why for a few pence, this may be the most valuable piece of preventative maintenance you will ever carry out on one of these.
It certainly has been the case for me.

Had I had not got to the bottom of this issue quickly, the projector would have had to have gone also quickly.

Since rectifying, I simply wouldn't be without it!

It was posted in the "General" section of forum only because I wanted to attempt to leave Robs post exposed for as long as possible in the hope he got to read it if he was out and about on his phone etc. I know he is busy filming for us all this week.
