That's excellent Clay, is it being projected on video or film?... any chance of a bit of a write up/photos on the making of etc. [Smile]

Thanks Graham and Dominique,
The films were being projected digitally. I had to get our film transfered to HD to even have it considered. I found out yesterday that it was the only analog film in this festival. I was a little surprised by that. Anyway, the film was well received, it was a treat for our young cast and their parents to see themselves up on the big screen.

Wonderful news, as well as sad, the only "analog" entry! Just think, we will, sooner or later, have a generation that doesn't even know what film is, beyond what is on they're pudding in the fridge.

Thanks Clay

I had a look through the Albany "Facebook" page, its very interesting. Would you consider putting it up on "Vimeo" at some stage?

Graham.

Clay,
I just viewed your film and was wondering what year you shot this in? Hard to believe it was just last year! The scene in the record shop and the other stuff looks like real vintage film from the old days! Nice! [Smile]

Very well done Clay [Smile]

Good Canon814 Auto Zoom Camera [Wink]

One thing I have noticed with video transfers of 8mm film, is that it never looks quite as good on screen as projecting with a Super8 projector. Its a pity they would not allow you to do that at the festival, film itself can really shine given the chance.

The music and acting was very good and thanks once again for sharing it [Smile]

Graham

Thanks Joe and Graham. We shot all of this last Fall 2014. We tried to give this as much of a late '60's feel as we could. The only vintage footage I used was of the parade floats and the clown. - Clay
