I am the owner of my first two projectors. The first arrived and after playing with it a little I ran into my first problem. When the film is auto threading I hold down the front section. However, before passing what I believe is the gate(? - it is marked S) it starts to loop and spit out. It doesn't appear to be feeding through. Any suggestions... Advice? If anyone has a manual in English I would greatly appreciate it!

Here is a picture of the inside: picture

Hi Evan,

This is the manual for Eumig 810D:

Eumig Manual

The 800 Series is similar enough among the various models it should do the job.

Thank you! Seems to be working now! I think I am missing the sprocket for Standard 8 though ={

If I remember well, these sprokets are inside the projector, on the part you remove to have access to the side you pictured.

That's exactly where they should be Dominique. At least I can use it for Super 8. Maybe with time I will get lucky enough to source a similar model for parts that is set for single 8. It seems these pieces are not easily attained

Single 8 is, regarding projection, the same gauge as super 8. The standard 8 gauge is also called regular 8 or double 8 (from what I leerned on this forum, in English double 8 refers only to the camera system while in French, it refers to the gauge, it can be useful to know that while prospecting on EBay or French sites).
