I need to fix a stretched take up belt in the next day or so. I know that I can order these off ebay...but that would be too late. I have a local electronics store that carries many different belts for electronic equipment. The problem I have is that I cannot find any info on what size the belts are. Does anyone know the size and shape (square, round, flat - profile)?

Can't you tell by looking at the belt? Measuring it?

You can take a piece of string... wrap it around the pulleys...then measure the length of the string. A 1/8' round belt should do. But if possible it's best to match the shape of the belt you have already installed.

If I remember right, the upper belt is square in cross section.
The size of the belt?
Measure the distance between the two pulley axles and double it, add that number to the pulley diameter x 3.14 (I think the two pulleys are equal...)
-take this whole number and divide it by 3.14 and you have a number slightly bigger (needs to stretch a little) than the diameter of a new belt laying on the table as a circle.
-maybe line up a couple of belts about the same size and pick and choose which one works the best.
