Although I am trying to off-load much of my collection, I am still a sucker for an uncommon projector at a good price. I just acquired a mint Elmo F-80. Has anybody had experience with these? It runs perfectly.

That projector looks in mint condition! That's what i like about the older standard 8mm projectors, and just like you if I see an unusual projector that I don't already have I do my best to get it .... well until my $$$$ runout [Smile]
And Elmo do make good projectors that last that I have found over the years [Smile]

Apparently this model is pretty rare. Can't believe nobody here has one.

What else are you off-loading Barry? My main (inherited) project right now is transferring a bunch of my cousin's family 8mm films. I love the quality and picture of my Bolex M8, but for this project the speed is just not rock solid enough. I can dial it in but only for maybe 8-10 seconds then a slow drift begins again. Not much, but I can see it, so...

I'm looking for something that may serve my purposes a little better. Maybe a little more automation would be nice [Smile]
