Hi there,
I've more recently got into Super 8 and 8mm and have added a Eumig 501 to my collection in order to review reels.
Unfortunately a reel got stuck to the upper arm and in removing it, the spindle axel got pulled out of he arm.
I've been unsure how to reassemble the axel correctly, every attempt so far has resulted in too great a speed. I've attached images of the components to see if anyone can assist with the correct way to reassemble it.
Cheers,
Calum

Hey Calum,
I've took appart my own and took a picture with all the parts in order, you can assemble them from left to right to get the right order.
Hope this helps!

Theres a slight judder in the axel, but the film now feeds smoothly and if it becomes an issue I'm sure I can tweak it.
Reverse works flawlessly and as mentioned, despite a little shake, forward seems to run fine now too.
Very much appreciate the help sir, lifesaver!
