Having looked through the downloaded later Derann catalogue posted here, I noticed that there was a film released by Derann described as a promo reel rather than a trailer for 101 Dalmatians.
Was this for the live action film or the animated original?
It's one I've never seen for sale and I would be most interested to hear from anyone who has ever owned this reel or even seen it to know what it contains.
If memory serves me correctly, I think maybe our friend Tom here may have this one, having thought about it a short while.
Here's hoping.

Andrew it was the live action 1996 version.
Sorry to disappoint you as I know you love Disney animation.

There is a copy of the 101 donations full feature on eBay I'm sure one of our forum member wanted this

Thanks David, I'm a fan of most things Disney, so it would be of equal interest to me to find one of these one day.
Thanks for the info David, most appreciated!
It doesn't all have to be animation, remember the recent WFRR footage and Mary Poppins SS's.

Andrew, i do have this promo, it was taken off a 35mm copy and the image is excellent. The sound is very good but not quite up to the usual Derann standard, its quite bassy, but good and is basically an extra long trailer to the live version. I think back then i paid £8.00 for it.

Thanks Tom.
If I were lucky enough to find one again, no doubt it won't cost £8 anymore!!

Not a problem Andrew.
No payment necessary mate, just as long as you enjoy it that is enough for me.

I was indeed a very lucky boy last night Tom.
We have some fantastic people in this hobby of ours we really do. Then again, this isn't the first occasion of me realizing and expressing this!
Huge thanks to both Jason & Kevin once again here.
