W O W !!

A really interesting item. Great to see Derek Simmonds in his prime, and bringing back to me happy memories of many a trip down to Dudley for those memorable Sunday open days..... just wish I had bought even more films than I did do at the time!
Keith Wilton's "cinema house" looks amazing!

Thanks for bringing this item to our attention Clinton!

Comments were passed at the time how happy they looked. I think it was a case of there is a BBC film crew here participate or you are grounded this weekend. I often wonder if that segment would have ever appeared when Barry Norman presented the Film programme. The Michael Parkinson period opened the programme up to be more like Clapperboard.

Funny, I wold have watched that programme every week staying up late just to watch it . Once Jonathan Ross took over it went down the toilet. Does it even run anymore? I know Claudia Winkleman took over after Ross but it literally has disappeared. [Eek!]

Fascinating viewing! I've seen the sections shot on film (without MP's intro) projected at one or two conventions, because although it was never released, Perry's produced one or two prints on Super 8, that I'd guess were ordered by Keith Wilton. He must have been in a good postion to borrow the master material!
