Hey folks,
I'm wanting to consolidate my 50' 8mm reels before I transfer to digital. Can you recommend a butt splicer and/or tell me what supplies I need to accomplish this?
Thanks!

The Kodak Presstape splicer is always recommended:-

Nice thing about this splicer is it does all three formats.
Does Kodak still make the tapes?

ooh, that's a good question. If they don't, maybe there's a replacement option?

You can buy them on eBay but beware of cheap knockoffs.
