I have a Korvettes Deluxe Convertible Model 600 film editor.
I am looking for a manual or someone who has used this.
My machine is fine but it has this little lever that doesn't seem to do anything. I am wondering what it is supposed to do. It is just above and to the left of the sprocket.
Thanks.

By any chance, would that be "E.J. Korvettes"?
I swear I'd have that editor just for the name on it! Back in my Teenage years they used to sell Kodachrome with processing included cheap and I'd pack the lower shelf of Mom's 'fridge with it! (My Parents were very good about this kind of stuff...)
I'm thinking your lever may actually be for marking the film to figure out where to cut it.
Try this: put a piece of junk film in the gate and push down on the lever: see if it cuts a divot out of the edge.

Eureka!
I put a scrap of leader in and it does make a small impression next to the gate.
Since I never use this thing for its intended purpose, that hadn't occurred to me. Here I had wondered if it was something broken.
Thank you.
